Our Staff
The staff at Alabama Family Dentistry wants to make you feel at home when you come to visit. If you have had an unpleasant experience in the past, make an appointment with us. Our offices are conveniently located in Warrior, Gardendale, Birmingham/Hoover, Sumiton, Bessemer and Gadsden. Individuals in the neighboring communities of Mountainbrook, Pelham, Homewood, Robbins, Dora, Kimberly, Morris, Mount Olive, and Bessemer are located close to one of our locations.
LeiAnn Phillips,R.D.H.
Executive Director
LeiAnn Phillips brings over 27 years of clinical, leadership and operational experience to Alabama Family Dentistry. Prior to joining AFD, Mrs. LeiAnn worked in the dental space as a hygienist, site manager, consultant and regional operations manager for a DSO covering the state of Alabama. She then went over to the healthcare space as Vice President of Operations in Anesthesia and Hospitalist Medicine. LeiAnn is married with three children and lives in Arab, AL. She enjoys reading, writing, kayaking and family get togethers.
At AFD, LeiAnn focuses on all operational responsibilities, develops, and maintains tactical processes geared to maximize patient care and employee satisfaction. LeiAnn has a hygiene degree from ADHP at University of Alabama at Birmingham and a Bachelor of Science in Education from Athens State University.
Cheryl Williams
Administrative Assistan
Cheryl Williams originally joined Alabama Family Dentistry in July 2004. Cheryl partners with our Director of HR/Operations to support all employee functions, to include: employee records, accounts payables/receivables, payroll, and complete bookkeeping for all Alabama Family Dentistry locations. Cheryl has numerous years of human resources and payroll experience. She worked for Walmart Distribution for numerous years in various roles. She is committed to supporting our senior management team with all operational functions. Cheryl is married to Jerry and has two sons, Tristan and Trentan. Cheryl loves to spend time with her family and church family while she is not at work.
